Hello! My name is Hali and I love all pets. This is mainly the reason why I wrote this comic. I want all animals to have a lovely home to live in for the rest of their lives. I do not like the idea of animals having to live in a cage for several days until they are either adopted or euthanized. I especially do not like to see older animals in shelters, because they are in their golden years and should be living comfortably and not locked up in a cage. I wrote this comic to bring awareness to what can happen to an animal if they are not adopted within 4 to 6 days of being brought into an animal shelter. This is how long the shelter’s are required to keep the animal by law according to the Orange County Animal Shelter in Florida. According to the website American Humane, about 3.7 million animals were euthanized in shelters in the U.S. in 2008. I also encourage you to go out and adopt an animal and save a life (particularly an older animal as the puppies and kittens get adopted out fast). (To read, print and fold.)
I wrote “Our Angels” to make light fun of things that are so common that they may be seen as normal & fairly acceptable behavior until you have to explain it. It is a quick read for a quick laugh
I am Cletus Petersen. I have chosen to make a semi-photorealistic biographical Zine about Tiger Woods. I decided to create my Zine about Tiger because he has always been a childhood hero and a golf role model for me. I wanted to get the chance to take a deeper look into the life and career of the great Tiger Woods. I touch on parts of his early life and career, some of the low points and accidents Tiger has been a part of, and the ability to comeback and change the game of golf forever. Tiger is a one of a kind athlete and this Zine highlights some of those reasons. (To read, print and fold.)
0-0-Z was a attempt at a horror/comedy of a man and his family at a zoo for mutated animals. With only 20 pages it’s a rush job of a plot twist but there is definitely one. --
Jonah Kollbaum Creators introduction: Brain & Body is a comic I made to represent the relationship between a brain and a person. (To read, print and fold pages.)

My name is Emma Kock, and I created Phrasing Feminism. The title comes from the musical term phrasing. Phrasing Feminism highlights several different female music artists that have made an impact on both the male dominated music industry and society as a whole. Enjoy!

Hi my name is Daisy! The comic book that I created, “The Art of Remembering” is made up of two stories joined together by the overall theme- death. I have always struggled with my fear of death so I figured that by creating a comic of what I dread, I could come to terms with the idea. The two stories are based on two of my favorite songs: “My Dear Helen” & “Last Words of a Shooting Star”. I included biographical scrapbook-like pages at the end to give credit to the songwriters.
Bruce Shannon is the lead guitarist for Grave Solace. This zine, "Grape Soda", is based off of an inside joke from the band where we call ourselves Grape Soda instead of Grave Solace. It chronicles the origin story of the band, as well as some moments derived from the bands actual history. NEW ALBUM "NDE" COMES OUT JUNE 17TH, NEW SINGLE "SELF-INFLICTED OUT NOW. Hello, my name is Dalton Glawe. I'm a senior music education major at Morningside. For this class, I created a mini series called Billy the Bad Bard. It's about a bard who is not very good at doing his job hence the title. I think the final product ended up fine. I did not really want it to be a bunch of gags because I think the overuse of gags is a lazy way to achieve humor. I had the first three comics planned out from the beginning but I didn't know what to do for the fourth comic. The fourth comic is supposed to happen right before the first comic so it's kind of a prequel. I liked how the comics ended up in a full circle. I hope you enjoy it.
My name is Kazzandra and I made this series of comics to talk a little about mental health and self care because they can be difficult topics. I also introduced a penguin to help ease the seriousness of the comics yet provide the information necessary about the topic.
